Keren Papier

Keren (BPH Nutrition Hons I) is a PhD candidate at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health at the Australian National University (ANU) and is a visiting student at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. For her PhD research, Keren is investigating the determinants of type 2 diabetes mellitus in Thailand’s health-risk transition. Keren’s research interests and expertise include assessing the effect of diet and lifestyle factors on non-communicable diseases, global health, the nutrition and epidemiological transitions, and longitudinal cohort studies. Alongside her studies, Keren works as a sessional academic at the Australian Catholic University.
