To join PHAA please refer to http://www.phaa.net.au/membership-info/become-a-member to join online.
You don't need to join PHAA-QLD separately from the PHAA, if you are a PHAA member and you live in Queensland you are already a PHAA-QLD member.
There are many ways for you to become involved in PHAA:
- Join the executive committee. Come along to our monthly meetings and have your say!
- Join our fight to change abortion laws in Queensland. Please see the engagement section of the website.
- Issues of importance. Do you know of a public health issue in QLD that needs to be addressed? Come along to our monthly meetings or send us an email and become involved in making a difference.
- Share your skills. Do you have media skills? Do you have health advocacy skills? We need more people to help advocate and work on improving the public health issues within Queensland. Volunteering your time can really help to make a difference.
Special Interest Groups
The PHAA has seventeen Special Interest Groups for members to meet with those who have similar interests and passions, to exchange information and to develop policy positions and papers. See http://www.phaa.net.au/about-us/SIGs
